Here at the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman, sometimes known as the FSPO, we want to raise financial awareness. The Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman provides an independent, impartial, fair and free service to resolve complaints from consumers about the conduct of their financial service provider or pension provider.
We frequently see situations where consumers have had their money stolen by falling for the pretty clever tricks that are used by criminals. So this week, we will be sharing FSPO case studies with you, to let you know about common scams and frauds that have caused other people to see their money simply disappear. So please don't fall for these scams and never let your bank account be used by anybody else.
